Every 2 weeks we search for driftwood treasures on the Camargue beaches in France and on a unique raft in the Rhone River close to our house in Boulbon. Driftwood is wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea, lake, or river by the action of winds. Most driftwood is the remains of trees, in whole or part, that have been washed into the ocean, due to flooding, high winds, or other natural occurrences.
After the thorough selection of the driftwood (on color, quality and size) we arrange our find against the driftwood wall of our chambres d'hôtes Mas la Bohème in Boulbon. www.maslaboheme.com
Every driftwood tree trunk is selected on size (diameter and length) in function of the orders.
